Star cem cement paints has been specially prepared to suit a common man's budget. It has special waterproofing properties that can withstand extreme weather conditions. It covers a larger area through easy brush ability. And also gives a superb durable finish with a unique aesthetic appeal.

Surface preparation
Clean the surface with a wire brush. Remove grease with a mild detergent treat organic growth with fungicide. If necessary, repair the surface.

Application Procedure
A supreme finish is guaranteed by following the instructions given below.

New cement, Bricks, Asbestos Cement Pebble Dash and Rough cast
Prepare and saturate the surface with water. Immediately after surface moisture has  disappeared, apply one coat of star cem. After 4 to 6 hours, sprinkle the surface with water again. When dry, (usually overnight), apply a second coat of star cem in the same way and sprinkle water again after. 4 to 6 hours.

Surface previously decorated with cement paint
prepare and apply two coat as above. To assist hydration in a hot and dry climate, star cem, (Like cement work generally), should be kept moist by spraying or hosing with water after the surface has set and whilst hardening is in progress.

Precautions
Cement paint should not be used on non absorbent surface such as glazed bricks, wet cement, previously painted surface or on bricks with a high sulphate content.

Mix sufficient star cem for one hour's work at a time.

4-5 sq. meters per kg. depending on the surface.
